Fine Tuning the show.
Last nights second showing of “It’s About Time” at The Sit Down Comedy Club was a marked improvement on the first show. Larger TV screens made a significant difference for the audience and it was great to hear some very constructive feedback from fellow Comedians, Booking Agents, and members of the General Public.
The overall response from the people that have seen it has been very positive, so basically now it’s just some fine tuning. The extra comedy bits I added made a huge difference to the beginning of the show I feel and really got us of to a good start.
This week I’m going to focus on more editing of the show. My goal is now to get it down from one hour to around 40 minutes, and in doing so making the show a lot more congruent with the requirements of the corporate market.
Also, this will help keep it punchy and eliminate some of the more “wordy” sections of the show. I’m learning more and more and it’s exciting to think that it will only get better from here.
